He criticized the imposition of Goods and Services Tax (GST) on essential commodities. 

He also flayed the anti-people stand of the government.

Staging a protest against the rise in prices, he said those who protest against the government are sent to prison.

The government is trying to suppress protesters, he said. 

The BJP government is engaged in hate politics, he added.

Efforts were made to distort history and insult great leaders. There is also corruption in the education department, he alleged. 

Welfare Party of India district unit president Abdul Aziz Udyavara said that a few years ago, the total debt of the country was Rs 56 lakh crore. But now, it has increased to Rs 156 lakh crore.

The Central government is privatising the public sector units. The wrong policies of the government are affecting the economy of the country, he added.
