He added that for the
third phase treatment, a quarantine corner has been set up to treat Covid-19 patients. Efforts were being made to ready 300 exclusive beds for this purpose. 100 pieces of medical equipment to check heart beat and oxygen supply will be supplied in another two days. Ventilators and anti-viral drugs have been kept ready to treat patients.

“We already have 14 ventilators and we have asked for another 15. We are hoping that we will get them soon. Presently, 800 patients can be accommodated in the district hospital itself. In the next four days, similar facilities will be made available in taluk hospitals also,” he added.
