Devotee drowns in Krishna Mutt, Udupi

Udupi: A 62-year-old man from Chennai lost his life when he drowned in Madhwa Sarovar in Krishna Mutt in the wee hours of Tuesday.

The deceased devotee is identified as Sreedharan. He entered the Madhwa Sarovar despite objections from the security.

The Fire department personnel immediately rushed to the spot and fished out the body.

A case is registered by Udupi Town police station.
