Two youth meet watery grave at Kempuhole in Mangaluru

Mangaluru:  Two youth, who had stepped into the Kempuhole at Ichlampady near Kadaba in Mangaluru district to have a bath, met a watery grave on Friday evening.

Police said on Saturday that the deceased are Gurunandan (23), of Kalya and Venkatesh (22),. It was said that Gurunandan had first drowned and Venkatesh who rushed to his rescue, later was also washed away.

Others who had accompanied them had immediately rushed home and informed their family. After an intensive search the bodies of the two youngsters were retrieved in the late night.
