Truck falls into ditch after knocking electric pole in Kumta

Kumta: A coke-laden truck fell into the ditch after knocking roadside electric pole here on Maanir NH-66 in the outskirts of Kumta on Wednesday morning. 

According to sources, due to the incident, driver Krishna Siddappa (34) and cleaner Dhyamanna Siddappa (21), escaped with minor injuries. Both are said as the residents Ramadurga.

Due to the impact of collision, the electric pole was broken and the truck fell into the 25-feet deep ditch.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station.
