Kumta streets sterilized to contain spread of Covid-19

Kumta: To curb the spread of novel Coronavirus in the region, Kumta Municipality along with fire brigade personnel sterilized the streets in the town on Saturday morning.

The nation is under lockdown since late March to curb the spread of Covid-19 and the citizens have been told to stay at home. As a precautionary measure, the streets were sprayed with disinfectant with the help of fire brigade personnel to sterilize against Covid-19.

By sterilizing main roads and residential areas, the spread of the virus can be restrained. The disinfectant was sprayed at the roads connecting Bastipeth to Fish market via Murukatte, and Old bus stand to New bus stand through Mastikatte circle in the town.
