Shotokon Karate Institute Bhatkal Holds Black Belt Grading

Bhatkal: Shotokon Karate Institute Bhatkal had their black belt grading at Kamalavati Ramanath Shanbhag Sabhabhavan, Bhatkal on Tuesday, September 10.

Kyoshi C Ranjan, Chief Instructor, YYIMK, conducted the grading test for 13 Karatekas, who were promoted to black belt and higher ranks.

The function was inaugurated by Virendera Shanbhag, Principal Shri Guru Sudhindra PU College, Bhatkal.

Speaking after inaugurating, Mr. Virendera, said, it is very difficult to establish a good society if we try to pose as heroes with certain gimmicks. India has around 33% of youth, in which most of them doesn't believe in hard work to achieve success, while they are busy involved posting their photos on social media platforms just to make themselves popular. The saddest part of current youths are that if they fail to attract audience towards them, they fall under depression which is ultimately taking them to commit suicide, he noted. He lauded the Shotokan Karate Institute for organizing the event and applaused their efforts to boost self-confidence among the youths.

The following names are those who got promoted to black belt are Vinkit Naik, Uzair Ahmed Kazia, Tejasawi Moger, Harsha Moger, Mahesh Naik, Bharani Adidarvida, Ganapati Adidarvida, Yogesh Naik, Jaysham J, Arti J Sontakki, Prathvirai Naik, Muhammed Ismail and Atiya T.

Majlise Ilsa Wa Tanzeem General Secretary Abdur Raqeeb Mj, Secretary New Shams School Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin, President Kannada Sahitya Parishat Ganghadar Naik, Ex-Military Man Shrikanth Naik, Principal Vidyanajali Public School Mamata KS, Pushpakata MD Beena Vaidya Public School Muredeshwar, Headmastar NES Bhatkal Ganapati Shiroor, Headmistress Vidya Bharati School Roopa Ramesh Kharvi and many others were present.
