Second non-Vande Bharat Mission flight landed in MIA

Mangaluru: A chartered flight carrying Kannadigas, stranded in Saudi Arabia, arrived at Mangaluru International Airport, MIA officials said on Wednesday.

They said that this was the second non-Vande Bharat Mission aircraft which landed here on Tuesday night after the lockdown was eased. Most of the passengers on the flight were of Dakshina Kannada origin.

The passengers expressed gratitude to Zacharia Bajpe, Sharif Bolar, Zahid and the team of Al Muzain, a company that supplies industrial equipment, through whose efforts their repatriation was possible.
