Murdeshwar resident killed in Mysore road accident

Bhatkal: In a road accident that happened near Yaseen Masjid in Mysore today on Sunday, a senior citizen of Murdeshwar in Bhatkal taluk was killed after being rammed over by a speeding car.

The deceased is identified as Valki Shahul Hameed (68). 

Sources from Mysore informed that the mishap happened when the deceased was walking towards the market in the morning, during which a speeding car rammed him from behind causing spot death. 

As the information was received, Mysore police rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigation. The body was then rushed to K R hospital in Mysore for post mortem.

Deceased Valki Shahul Hameed is a son-in-law of Murdeshwar's well-known personality Mani Shahul Hameed. He is survived by a wife, a daughter and a son.
