Multispecialty hospital in Kumta; delegation to meet NRI Businessman B R Shetty in Bengaluru today

Kumta: The Mangaluru-based NRI businessman Dr B R Shetty, who has a high quality of super speciality hospital chain in United Arab Emirates, is willing to bring a multispecialty hospital in Kumta in Uttara Kannada District. It is learned that Shetty will be arriving in Bengaluru on his special chartered flight on Saturday and will be chairing a meet with Kumta MLA Dinakar Shetty in the Taj West End.

It shall be noted that a campaign was launched on social media platforms echoing the demand for the Super Specialty Hospital in the district.  

The people of Uttara Kannada had to rely on the Dakshina Kannada district for the primary care and treatment for any ailment. Most commonly, the road accident victims died en route to the hospital. This multi-speciality hospital will be built in Kumta in Uttara Kannada district as it is a central place in the coastal part of the district.

Two representatives of B R Shetty organization have already inspected the land near Haldipur in the taluk earlier. However, further discussion will be made only after B R Shetty arrives Bengaluru to chair a meeting in this regard.

He has already spoken twice with MLA Dinakar Shetty. Three private lands have been identified in Kumta as an appropriate area for the construction of the hospital. The documentation was also prepared by representatives of the firm.
