Bhatkal: Sahil Sawda, Hayat Shaikh selected for KUD cricket team

Bhatkal: Two students, Sahil Sawda of Manki and Muhammad Hayat Shaikh of Murdeshwar have been selected for the cricket team of Karnataka University Dharwad.

Sahil Sawda is a student of SDM degree college in Honnavar and also a player at RSA Manki team, whereas Muhammad Hayat Shaikh is a student of Beena Vaidya degree college in Murdeshwar and a player at Al Wafa team, Murdeshwar.

Karnataka University Dharwad has asked the duo to attend the coaching camp that is to be held at the university campus on November 25, 2019. They will be representing Karnataka University in the Inter University Cricket Tournament to be played at the University of Mysore from November 28 to December 11, 2019.

The managements of both college, the respective sports clubs along with Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation have congratulated both of them on being selected as University Blue and have expressed their best wishes on the duo to emerge as the best players.
