KMC Manipal Arogya card 2021 enrolment begins

Bhatkal: Dr H S Ballal, Pro Chancellor of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal launched  the  Manipal  ArogyaCard  2021 and said “It gives me immense pleasure to launch Manipal ArogyaCard 2021, which has now completed 20 years of  providing quality health care at affordable costs to our community. Manipal ArogyaCard motto for the year is “FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY - GREAT VALUE, TRUSTED CARE" Initially, this Scheme started for the people of the undivided Dakshina Kannada district and now this scheme extends to more than 12 districts of coastal Karnataka and central Karnataka including Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Davanagere, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Uttra Kannada, Haveri, Chikmagalur and Bellary etc, and also to neighbouring states like Kerala, Goa etc.

Dr. Avinash Shetty Medical Superintendent said that “Manipal ArogyaCard (MAC) was incepted with an aim to make quality healthcare treatment affordable to the public. It offers benefits on complete range of healthcare services. By paying a small amount, anybody can become a member and avail the benefits. The money invested in buying the card will be received back in the form of discounts in just two or three uses of the card. This 21st year of Manipal ArogyaCard also includes one year and two-year scheme. 

Card memberships includes, Individual membership for 1 person, at ₹ 300/, Family membership includes his/her spouse and any number of unmarried children below 25 years at ₹ 600/- and Family plus membership includes individual spouse, any number of unmarried children below 25 years and up to 4 parents including in-laws at ₹ 750/- which is the additional benefit. For 2 year scheme Individual scheme at ₹ 500/-, Family at ₹ 800/- and Family plus at ₹ 950/-”.

The Manipal ArogyaCard holder can avail following discount at Kasturba Hospital, Manipal 


•             50% discount on all Specialist or Super specialist doctor consultation

•             30% discount on Diagnostics and Laboratory investigations

•             20% discount on Radiology investigation

•             20% discount on OP procedures and Diabetic Foot care

•             ₹ 100/- on Dialysis

•             Up to 12% on the Medicines purchased from Hospital Pharmacy                

•             25% discount on Inpatient bill excluding consumables in General Ward

•             10% Discount on COVID -19 Govt. approved package for all Cash paying patients in General ward

The scheme is applicable in the Manipal Group hospitals in Coastal Karnataka & Goa. Which includes Kasturba Hospital Manipal, Dr. T. M. A. Pai Hospital Udupi and Dr. T. M. A.
