Mangaluru: 35 women cops asked to work from home from Apr 30 onwards

Mangaluru:  As many as 35 women staff in Police Commissionerate limits have been asked to discharge their duties from home from April 30 as a precautionary measure in the wake of the rise in Covid cases.

DCP Hariram Shanker said pregnant woman personnel, as well as those staff who have kids below two years of age, have been asked to work from their computer/laptops at home.

Separate kiosks have also been opened at Police stations for the public to lodge their complaints in the wake of many Covid cases in the vicinity of police stations.
