Manegar Meera of Shiroor to be honoured with Rajyotsava award

Bhatkal: Mr. Manegar Meera, a well-known social figure from the neighboring area of ​​Shiroor in Udupi district, has been named in the list this year by the state government for the 'Rajyotsava Award' given to various personalities for their service in different walks of life.

Manegar Meera Saheb, a resident of Shiroor, is a non-resident Indian businessman who is known for his generosity and social services. While living in the Gulf, he has rendered social, educational, cultural and welfare services not only for Shiroor but also for many other areas of the state. Apart from the charitable services rendered for the last 40 years by being associated with Shiroor Association, Kundapur Kannada Balaga Gulf and various other organizations, he paid attention towards the activities that uplifted the benefits for Kannada language and Kannadigas.

As Vice President and Managing Trustee of Green Valley National School, he is also providing services in the field of education. In addition, for the convenience of the people of Shiroor, he has donated an ambulance for medical emergencies.
