JD(S) ready for post-poll tie-up with Congress: HD Deve Gowda

Mangaluru/Mandya: While reiterating they have no plans to have a political truck with BJP, Janata Dal (Secular) patriarch HD Deve Gowda on Saturday hinted at a possible rapprochement with the Congress after the byelectionto 15 assembly constituenciesin the state on December 5.

"This depends on the Congress high command's position once the results are out and there's clarity on where respective parties stand in terms of numbers," said Gowda who was canvassing for JD(S) candidates contesting the Mangaluru City Corporation council polls.
