Bhatkal: An industrial visit was organized by the Department of Computer Science Engineering on 30th November 2022. A team of 31 students from 3rd year Computer Science Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Mohammed Rizwan Shaikh, Prof. Abdul Tawab and Prof. Madhura visited Diya Systems, Mangalore. 

According to the press release, the main objective was to experience a corporate environment and to know nature of works undertaken by professional software engineers. Students have observed various stages of software development and corporate working environment. Experts from industry gave a comprehensive lecture on the nature of works undertaken by them. The visit was successful and students acquired useful technical  information about the software development process.
