Gulf Committee Samsi host get-together event in UAE

Dubai: A get-together event of Samsi diaspora residing in United Arab Emirates (UAE) was held here at Al-Rashidiya park in Dubai on 13th December, Friday, organized by 'Gulf Committee Samsi'.

Present as the guest in the event, one of the well-known personality, Dr Ismail Talkani, addressing the gathering, applaused the members of Gulf Committee Samsi for hosting a beautiful party, which threw an atmosphere of hometown being in Gulf. He also asked the members to maintain unity and help one another in every cause.

It is to be noted, Samsi a small village located on the banks of river Sharavati in Honnavar taluk of Uttara Kannada district. Hundreds of youth from this small village are employed in various parts of Gulf including UAE. The 'Gulf Committee Samsi' was found in the year 2009, and since then the Committee is remembered for the welfare activities of Samsi village.
