Covid-19: Bhatkal 'Tair Habba' postponed

Bhatkal: The Tair Habba Ratha Utsav (Chariot Festival) which was supposed to be held at Bhatkal on 2nd April have been postponed, as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

This famous festival was organised by Chennapattana Hanumanta Temple.

The decision has been taken after the State government issued an order cancelling all the programmes, closing the schools and colleges to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

Tahsildar along with other officials chaired a meeting with People and postponed it.
