Corona: 29 students found +ive in DK after colleges reopened

Mangaluru:  As many as 29 students have tested positive for Covid-19 in Dakshina Kannada district after they started attending classes after its reopened on November 18.

Department of education officials said on Monday that till Saturday 16,441 students have been subjected to Covid tests in the district. Of those who tested positive, 16 are from Mangalore, seven from Bantwal, four from Sullia and one each from Puttur and Belthangady. Some of those who tested positive have been quarantined in the hostels of their colleges while others have been asked to remain in home quarantine.
