Car-Truck collision on Kumta-Sirsi road kills 1, injures 3

Sirsi: In a road accident involving collision between Car and a truck on Kumta-Sirsi highway near Ragihosalli of Sirsi taluk, one person was killed and three others recieved grievous injuries. The mishap happened on 11th July, Thursday afternoon.

According to sources, the deceased and the injured victims are residents of Siddapur taluk. The injured were rushed to Mangalore hospital for treatments.

The mishap happened when the car was enroute Gokarna from Sirsi, while truck was in the opposite direction.

A case has been registered in Sirsi rural police station and further investigations are underway.
