Bhatkal Police writes TMC to evacuate roadside temporary shops on highway

Bhatkal: Bhatkal Police department has written to Town Municipality Council asking to evacuate the temporary shops which have been installed by few shop holders across the highway.

In the letter, it was mentioned that these temporary shops across the highway have left no space for pedestrians. There is also increased traffic problems and a rise in accidents noticed in the town these days. The department has asked the TMC for removal of these shops and take legal action against those. 

Notice to shopkeeper:

Acting on the letter, TMC president Sadiq Matta has requested the shopkeepers to replace their outlets a few distance away from the highway.

TMC chief officer D Devaraj, senior health officer Saujiya Soni and others were present.
