Ahead of Eid, Bhatkal Muslim Merchants Association demand open of market till 11 PM, submit memo

Bhatkal: The Bhatkal Muslim Merchants Association submitted a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner seeking permission to allow shops to open till 11 PM in the wake of Eid shopping in Bhatkal.

In the memorandum, it is said, it's the season of shopping on the occasion of Eid Ul Adha. For the convenience of shopkeepers and the public, the market shall be allowed to remain open till 11 PM instead of 9 PM on July 29 and 30 with a two-hour discount, only for two days.

Responding to the memorandum, AC Bharath assured that he will take a note of it and fulfill the demands.

On this occasion, the members of Association including Sanaullah Gawai, Muhammad Habeebullah Siddibapa, Abdur Raheem and many others were present.
