Bhatkal: Residents demand Asphalt roads in Firdous Nagar, submit a memorandum to MLA

Bhatkal: The residents of Firdous Nagar in Heble gram limits in the taluk, met MLA Sunil Naik and submitted a memorandum demanding to lay Asphalt on the roads in Firdous Nagar area.

In the memorandum, the residents stated that no asphalt have been laid in the streets of Firdous Nagar for the last 50 years, we have been cheated only in the name of approval. Road works have been done in other areas by the Taluka Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat, but no one has paid any attention to our area yet. They also demanded to approve the works for construction of Asphalt roads along with underground drainage works in the streets of Firdous Nagar.

After receiving the memorandum, MLA asserted that the concerned officers would be spoken in this regard and further steps would be initiated to fulfil the needs.

On this occasion, Panchayat member Sayyed Ali, Jafari Bangali, Muhammad Meera Kurse, Maulana Iqbal Bangali and many others were present.
