Bhatkal beaches closed due to Covid-19 outbreak

Bhatkal: The authorities of Jali Town Panchayat along with Taluka Adminstration are taking preventive measures to help contain the spread of the new coronavirus throughout the Bhatkal.

As a result, surfers and beachgoers are not allowed to step on sand or water during the outbreak. 

"People are advised not to go beaches. People must avoid being in a crowd," said in a realese. 

The novel coronavirus cases in India rose to 169 on Thursday after 18 fresh cases were reported from various parts of the country, according to the Health Ministry.
