Ex-President of Bhatkal's Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen honoured with 'National Excellence Award' in Bengaluru

Bhatkal: Former President of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, Bhatkal, Mr Abdur Raheem Jukaku, honoured with 'National Award for Excellence in Education' for the year 2019, at the third annual two-day convention of Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) held here in Bengaluru on 22nd February, Saturday.

Every year, AMP honours the eminent personalities and organizations which are actively involved in the educational development of Muslims. A prominent personality of Bhatkal, Mr Abdur Raheem Jukaku, who has served in key positions like Vice President, General Secretary and President for many years at Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, was honoured with the 'National Education Award' by acknowledging his educational services.

After receiving the award, Abdur Raheem thanked Almighty Allah, and said that it was actually not an award for him, but it is based on the educational services being done by the Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, Bhatkal. He also thanked the office bearers and members of Anjuman for their support in all kinds.

It is to be noted that around 200 members from across the country and abroad participated in this two-day Convention of the Association, which is actively working in the field, with long-term and short-term plannings aimed at the development of Muslims, especially in education, employment and economics.
