Bhatkal: AITM to give concession in admission fee through scholarships for meritorious students

Bhatkal: The Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), run by Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen Bhatkal, is one of the standard colleges in the state. College results are getting better every year, and the standard of education is also increasing. The faculties have paid special attention to the educational level of our students even during the Corona pandemic and provided all kinds of guidance online, expressed Principal of the college, Dr. Mushtaq Bhavikatti.

Speaking in press conference held at the college campus, he further said that Anjuman College has so far entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 6 companies and more such agreements will be signed with other multinational companies in the coming days. The companies' agreement guides the students through internships and also provides them with employment.

The principal said that last year 26 students of the college got placement in different companies and this year 11 students have been placed and many more students are expected to get placement. In addition, the alumni of the college have also succeeded in providing employment to our students in various companies. He congratulated the students and teachers on the approval of 6 projects of college students by KSCST.

He said that admissions are going on in all the departments of the college. Students are also given discounts in tuition fees through scholarships, and the scholarships are also given by the Anjuman, while non-Muslim students are given scholarship by the family of late Jukako Abdul Rahim. Students of all religions and classes are studying in our college. The tuition fees of any department of the college have not been increased. However, according to the new rules imposed by the university, the fees of department of computer science has been slightly increased.

Further speaking, Dr. Raj Kumar, Professor of the College, said that Anjuman College has a good learning environment and experienced staff.  Many students are employed in multinational companies in India and abroad. Reputed institute like Karnataka State Science and Technology has approved 6 projects of our final year students, while the university has selected 10 projects. In addition, many students are doing PhD, while 2 students have been awarded PhD degree. Our students continue to improve their academic standards by participating in seminars and webinars under the guidance of college teachers.

Dr. Fazlur Rahman, President, Mechanical Department, lauded the efficiency of the teachers and their quality. He said many have done PhD and are quite experienced. All our labs are also up to date. New things are being added every year. The results of the department are also quite good.
