AUZ BMYF Pro Kabaddi concludes on high note in Bhatkal; Team Bhaijan takes away championship title

Bhatkal: Team Bhaijaan won AUZ BMYF Pro Kabaddi title by beating Team Patel Warriors in finals, which was organised by Bhatkal Muslim youth Federation "AUZ PRO KABADDI SEASON 2" at the Taluka Stadium (YMSA Ground), Bhatkal on Monday.

Chief Guest, BC Ramesh, Arjuna Awardee and Head coach of Bengal warriors was present in the closing ceremony of the tournament.

Addressing the gathering, Mr Ramesh, asked BMYF to have a sports hostel in Bhatkal taluk from the government. He also assured that he wil have a Kabaddi coaching camp for 15 days in Bhatkal. He also said that many players in Bhatkal are talented, and need to train them well. Some players looks like Iran kabbadi  players, he noted.

A total of 12 teams participated in the tournament.

Champion Team Bhaijaan were awarded with cash prize of Rs. 75,000 with a trophy, while the runners up Team Patel Warriors awarded Rs. 40,000 and a trophy. 

A cash prize of Rs 10,000 awarded for third place Team Khalifa Paltan and a trophy. Fourth Place went to Team KM Tours and Travels with a cash prize Rs 10,000 and a trophy

Discipline team awarded to Embassy Riders, Man of the Final was taken away by Arvind siddi of Team Bhaijaan. Best catcher of the tournament awarded to Sahil Amri of Team Khalifa Paltan. Best Rider of the tournament awarded to Ravi of Team Patel Warriors.

Player of the tournament was awarded to Ratan of Team Bhaijaan.

The final ceremony was presided by President of BMYF  Maulana Azizur Rahman Ruknuddin. 

Vice president BMYF Moulavi Anjuma Gangwali welcomed, Vote of thanks was given by sports secretary Mohammed Talha.

On this occasion General Secretary Umair Ruknuddin, M Shanmugam Kabaddi referee board chairman Karnataka, Ateequr Rahman Muniri, Vice President of Majilse Islah Wa Tanzeem & Chairman AUZ group of Companies, Raees Ahmed, Team Manager Bengal Warriors, Tanzeem President SM Parvez, Parvez Kasimiji President Town Municipal Council, Inayatullah Shabandri Former Kabaddi Player of Karnataka, Markazi Jamaatul Muslimeen General Secretary Ismail Jubapu, National Kabaddi player Mahesh Gowda ,Hifzur Rahman Barmawar, Imtiyaz Udyawar, Naseef Khalifa and many others were present.
