2nd PU results: Two students from Dakshina Kannada tops for state in commerce stream with 99.33%

Mangaluru: As the results of Karnataka second PU examinations announced today on 15th April Monday, two students from Dakshina Kannada district clinched the title of toppers' in the state in commerce stream by securing an equal score.

Olvita Ancilla D'souza of Alvas PU College Moodbidri and Shri Krishna K of Alike Sathya Sai Loka Seva PU College Vittla secured 596 marks with 99.33% each.

Olvita scored full marks in Business Studies, Basic Maths and in Statistics, while she managed to get 98 marks each in two Language papers Hindi and English. She is the daughter of Olvira Ubald Dsouza and Anita Mariya Dsouza.

Another student from Canara PU College, Shreya Shenoy secured second place in the state with 595 marks (99.16%), while Swastik P of St. Philomena College Puttur, who got 594 marks (99%) was one among seven students who shared third place in the state.
