Bhatkal: Around 280 people received first jab of COVID vaccine at Tanzeem hall

Bhatkal: In collaboration with Uttara Kannada District Administration and Bhatkal Taluka Administration, COVID Vaccination drive for people aged 45 years and above was organized at Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem hall on Thursday, which received good success. Around 280 people were vaccinated in this one-day camp. It has been reported that only 280 doses were provided today for the vaccination camp organized by Tanzeem.

The camp, which started at 9 AM came to end at 4:30 PM. Vaccination for men was arranged on the first floor and for women on the ground floor. The youths of Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation extended their full co-operation with Tanzeem in performing public services with the extreme discipline. Taluka Health Officer Dr. Murthy Raj Bhat and the Nursing Staff of the Taluka Hospital were also seen playing their roles in the camp with full interest and enthusiasm.

During the camp, the facility of correcting any kind of wrong entry in the vaccination certificate was also provided which was well performed by Mubasshir Hussain Hallare. More than 50 people who have been vaccinated in recent days have corrected incorrect entries related to their address or gender. According to Tanzeem, if anyone else needs to correct the details can contact Mubasshir Hallare.

On the success of the vaccination camp, on behalf of Tanzeem, Dr. Hanif Shabab, Media Coordinator, Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem, expressed his gratitude to all those who cooperated in the campaign and said that in the coming days, it is also planned to be held in other areas of the Bhatkal.
