253 students to appear for CET exam in Bhatkal tomorrow

Bhatkal: For the very first time, the Common Entrance Test (CET) examinations are conducted in Bhatkal and at Anjuman PU college, wherein a total of 253 students of Bhatkal taluk have registered. The examinations will commence on Thursday, 30th July.

Speaking to SahilOnline, Mohammed Yusuf Kola, Principal of Anjuman Pre-University College, said, all arrangements are made for the smooth conduct of the examinations. He said, on this pandemic situation of COVID-19, students must be present in the examination centre two hours before the test. 24 students are allowed in one classroom. They must wear mask, bring drinking water bottles and food from home, he added.

We have sanitized all the classrooms. A separate classroom has been reserved in centre for the students of whom having symptoms. Senior officers have been deployed as observers, and committees have been formed for smooth conduct of the CET. A special flying squad has been deployed for each centre to prevent examination malpractices, he noted.

The students are writing the CET for admission to medical, dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga, Engineering courses for the academic year 2020-21.
