Bike rams into truck in Kasargod, 2 dead

Kasargod: In a collision between a lorry and bike here at Chowki Kallangai, two men lost their lives on 8th February, Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as P Lukachan (53yrs) and Vijayan (38yrs), both residents of Bheemanadi in the taluk.

According to sources, Lukachan and Vijayan were friends and had been to Kundapur. They were on their way back to Bheemanadi on Thursday on a Bullet bike. While they were travelling from the National Highway at Chowki Kallangai, the accident took place.

The duo died on the spot due to heavy impact of the collision. Both their bodies were shifted to the mortuary of Kasargod general hospital.

Kasargod traffic police arrived at the spot and a case was registered.
