Two held for trafficking illicit Goan liquor in Karwar

Karwar: Two persons were nabbed by the police on the charges of transporting illegal Goan liquor during a raid that was conducted here at Maingani village in Karwar on Tuesday, 11th September.

The accused are Deepak and Laxman, residents of Karwar.

According to officials, both were caught red-handed when they were transporting the Goan liquor from the forest area in their two-wheeler. The estimated value of the seized property is worth 69 thousand rupees.

A case stands registered in Chittakul police station in this regard.
