Two held for selling Ganja in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: Two men were arrested by the Bhatkal police on charges of selling ganja at a hotel near Hoovinapete, in Bhatkal, on Monday night.

The accused are Abdul Rehman Budansaab of Shirali Tattihakkal in Bhatkal taluk, and Mastappa Narayan Naik of Chouthani.

Following a tip-off, the team led by Tahsildar V N Badkar and Bhatkal police arrested the accused and seized ganja worth Rs 3,000.
