Tree falls on house, man injured

Yellapur: A huge tree fell on a house at Maruthi Galli in Vajralli in Yellapur taluk recently leaving one man injured in the incident.

The tree fell on Durgappa Vaddar’s house at night. Due to the impact, the roof of the house collapsed and Durgappa, who was in the house, was injured on his head.

Revenue Department and the gram panchayat officials visited the spot for inspection. During the visit, the localites urged the administration to take precautionary measures and cut the trees which may cause loss of life and property.
