Fire catches fruit shop in Sirsi; loss valued over 2 lakhs

Sirsi: Loss of around two lakh rupees has been estimated after the fire accidentally caught into one of the fruits shop located near Shivaji Chowk here at Sirsi on 11th August, Friday morning.

Reports from Sirsi said that the fruit shop belonging to Abdul Jabbar, accidentally caught fire and gutted the stock of fruits and other eatables kept in a shop. 

As the information was alerted, the fire brigade personnel along with their two vehicles rushed to the spot and rubbed out the fire. The rise of a fire was so drastic that it took nearly three hours to rub out completely.
