Shiroor Jamath Dubai holds get together programme; Late Abdul Qadir's services were remembered

Dubai: Shiroor Association under the sponsorship of Albastan Residents, organized a get together for Shiroorians, where the founder member of Green Valley school of Shiroor, Mr. Abdul Qadir urf Basha Bhai's generous contribution towards the society were remembered.

As a chief guest, renowned personality from Shiroor, Muhammed Meera Manegar took part in it and expressed his views on services of Late Abdul Qadir, which are uncountable. He said, now it is our duty to continue his service of charity. Indeed he was a sincere and an influential personality. Many issues and difficulties we face here in Shiroor such as starting of a new ambulance service, improvement of roads and cleanliness of various areas.

He further added that after the declaration of the final results of Karnataka election we should put forth the issues in front of new elected MLA to solve these problems. He also said that if he finds any area of Shiroor which is facing the scarcity of water, he will definitely put his hand front and help them to dig the wells.

Mr. Meera inspired the youngsters that along with Commerce, they should take part in Science and various engineering fields. Shiroor association Secretary Krishna Ballawe presented the report of association, Ex-president Mr. Ibrahim also expressed Abdul Qadir's services and inspired the members of association to work for the development of association with unification.

On the occasion Mohammed Meera was felicitated for his services; Mrs Bilqees was also honored who served as a teacher in various government schools since last 42 years.

In get-together programme, a Quiz competition was conducted were most of the members took part in it.  Raffle draw was also a part of the event, where Mr Syed Md Asfar won the bumper prize in men, whereas in women Mrs Ashraful-Nisa won the bumper draw.

President of Shiroor association Mr Abdul Munaaf Momin presided over the programme, Mr KB Fayyaz presented vote of thanks, Mr Tauseef Ansari hold the master of ceremony.

Janab Ibraheem Karani, Mustafa Gangawali, Mr Abdul Khalique, Padgar Abdul Ghani, Riyaz Kapusi and Mohammed Rashad and others were present in the programme.
