Udupi: K T Balakrishna transferred, Dr. Sanjeev Patil is the new SP of the district

Udupi: IPS officer Dr. Sanjeev Patil took the charge as the new SP of the Udupi district on 10th August, Thursday. The outgoing SP K T Balakrishna officially handed over the charge.

The state government had issued the order on 4th August, Friday. Balakrishna had taken charge as SP of Udupi district in July 2016. He will henceforth serve as Superintendent of Police Commandant General, and Home Guards, Bengaluru.

Sanjeev Patil was earlier serving as SP of Anti-Corruption Bureau in Bengaluru since May 2017. Patil has also served as DCP in Mangaluru Commissionerate limits.
