Bhatkal: Hundreds take part in 'Saksham Cyclothon-2019'

Bhatkal: The Petroleum Conservation Research Association (PCRA) and Oil Industry organized a ‘Saksham Cyclothon 2019' in Bhatkal on Sunday to create awareness on the need of oil and gas conservation. The event saw hundreds of people including students and members of various organizations pedalling on the roads of Bhatkal to create awareness about energy conservation.

At the Police Ground, Bhatkal CPI KL Ganesh flagged off the 'Saksham Cylcothon-2019' bicycle rally organised by Ranjan Indane and Rafaat Agency, Bhatkal in Association with Goodwin Cycle Trading Company, Bhatkal.

The rally returned to the Police ground after moving via Shamshuddin Circle, Nawayath Colony, Madeena Colony, Haneefabad, National Highway 66  and Sagar Road. After the lucky draw, a new bicycle wad given to Sanjeev, a student of Government High School, Belke. 

T-shirts, caps and breakfast were arranged for the participants.

Town PSI Kasumdhra, Shivani Shantaram, Nabeed Damda and many others were present.
