5 die in car-bus collision in Shivamogga

Sagar: Five persons died when the car they were travelling in collided with a private bus

on National Highway 206 near Balasagodu village in Sagar taluk on Wednesday evening.

The police have identified the deceased as Neelakantappa, 60, a resident of Nadahalli village in Sorab taluk, his wife Kereyamma, 55, their son, Mohan, 36, daughter-in-law Shruthi, 28, and Krishnamurthy, 45, the car driver.
