Bike rams into electric pole in Bhatkal, 2 seriously injured

Bhatkal:  Bike accidents are increasing day by day in the taluk due to reckless and underage driving. One such incident has occurred here at Muscat Colony of 8th February, Thursday where a bike rammed into an electric pole leaving two youngsters severely injured.

The victims have been identified as Mohammed Imran and Mohammed Rabi, both around 13-years-old.

According to sources, the duo was riding a bike on Thursday and at around 9:00pm in the evening, the rider lost balance due to speeding and hit a electric pole near Muscat Colony here. Due to the impact, Imran has sustained serious injury to the head and is critical while Rabi sustained injuries to the leg.

Both of them were immediately admitted to Bhatkal Government Hospital and were later transferred to Mangaluru for further treatment.
