Rain continues in Uttar Kannada; Heavy in coastal, Intermittent in Malnad

Karwar: The coastal part of Uttar Kannada i.e Karwar, Bhatkal, Kumta, Honnavar and Ankola recived heavy rain on Saturday. While the district's Malnad region i.e Sirsi, Siddapur and Mundgod received intermittent showers.

In the time period of 24 hours​ till Saturday morning,the district received total of 298.5 mm rain and average of 27.1 mm rain.

This includes 15.6 mm in Ankola, 60 mm in Bhatkal, 47.1 mm in Kumta, 10.2 mm in Haliyal,17.8 mm in Honnavar, 11 mm in Karwar, 6 mm in Mundgod, 34.6 mm in Siddapur, 39 mm in Sirsi, 35 mm in Joida, 22.2 mm in Yellapur.
