More than 35 passengers injured as bus topples near Mangaluru

Mangaluru: More than 35 passengers sustained injuries after the private bus in which they were travelling in toppled in Baikampady near Mangaluru today morning.

The bus which witnessed the accident was a  private bus that was proceeding from Mangaluru to Katipalla. The injured have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru, including two severely hurt passengers.

The accident occurred when the bus driver lost control over the vehicle at Jokatte curve at around 8 am this morning.

Although the bus was crowded, luckily no causality took place.

Mangaluru traffic police have registered a case regarding the incident.
