Man falls from coconut tree near Manki, dies

Bhatkal: A farmer died after falling from a coconut tree while plucking coconuts at Balkur village near Manki in Honnavar taluk on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Ganpati Devappa Naik (44). It is said that he was seriously injured in the incident and rushed to a hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries.

A case has been registered at Manki Police Station.
