Kumta Muslim Association conducts 'Salana Jalsa' of Madrasa-e-Muhammadia

Kumta: Madrasa-e-Muhammadia Sabeelul Huda, managed by Kumta Muslim Association organized its annual day celebration on Sunday after Zohar namaz here at Madrasa campus located in Muslim street, Kumta. The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Muhammed Saad, the youngest student of Madrasa. 

In the first session, which began at around 3 pm, the students of Madrasa showcased their skills in Quran recitation and Hadith presentation.

Present as the chief guest, Maulana Muhammad Younus Barmawar Nadvi from Bhatkal, lauded the students for giving a wonderful performance. He explained the importance of Madrasas in Islam and elaborated its impact on the region. He further asked the locals to come forward in getting the admissions for their children done in this Madrasa. 

In the second session, which began after Asar prayers, held the announcement of students' exam results for the academic year 2017-18 and the prizes were also distributed to the respective students on the occasion.

The program was presided by Kumta Muslim Association president Mulla Akbar Saheb, while Maulana Esa Nadvi presented the annual report. Maulana Irshad Nadvi compered the event, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Maulana Esa Nadvi.

On this occasion Kumta Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen president Muhammad Shafi Shaikh, Jamat-Ul-Muslimeen vice-president Muhammad Mohsin Qazi, Kumta Muslim Association vice-president Abdul Shukur Shaikh, general secretary Abdul Khayyum Sab, Basti Abdul Malik Saheb and many other guests from Karwar and Bhatkal were present.
