Kumta: Man slips from foot bridge; dies

Kumta: A man lost his life after he drowned in a stream while crossing a foot bridge. The accident reported on Thursday night at Hebbail village in Kumta.

According to sources, Jagadish Jatta Naik (40) was crossing the foot bridge, when he slipped and fell into a stream.

Jagadish who was said to be farmer is survived by wife and two children.

A case has been registered in Kumta police station and search is going on to trace the body of Jagadish.
