Kumta Madrasa celebrates annual day with zeal

Kumta: The Farooqi mohalla Jamatul Muslimeen in association with Al Manar youth club & Al Sana welfare association, organized the annual day function of Madrasa Darul Uloom Wa Madrasa Darul Aman Lil Banaat in Farooqi mohalla, Kumta on 12th May, Friday at Madrasa campus ground.

The program was initiated with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Abdul Rahman Abdul Hameed, followed by the recitation of Hamd and Naat by Afeera Abusalih Bombaikar and Mufeeza Ibrahim, which was sung in a pleasant voice.

The event began after Isha prayers, which lasted till midnight with various colorful programs from the students of both the Madrasa (Islamic learning center). Meanwhile, the students of Madrasa Darul Uloom (Boys madrasa) and Madrasa Darul Aman Lil Banaat (Girls madrasa) were also honored with prizes for their achievements in various academic events.

The principal of Jamia Islamia Bhatkal, Maulana Maqbool Kobattey Nadvi, who was the chief guest, addressing the gathering stressed every Muslim to follow the footsteps of prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He said Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has shown us the way for the success in this world and hereafter.

Maulana Ilyaz Nadvi, Gen Secretary of Maulana Abul Hassan Islamid Academy Bhatkal, in his speech, enlightened the beauty of Islam and also explained about the dress code that the Islam has permitted for us. He urged every Muslim to bring the lifestyle of prophet Muhammad in their life to achieve success in the world and hereafter.

Janab Ayyub Muallim welcomed the guests and the audience, while Janab Ali Tanji and Muhammad Ghouse Bombaikar compered the event.

Abdur Rahman Dangi Jamai, Hafiz Abu Saleh Saheb, Farooqi mohalla JamatUl Muslimeen president Janab Adam Hussain Saheb, N.K Muslim forum district General secretary Muhammad Mohsin Quazi, Ex. President of Vanalli Jamatul Muslimeen Amanullah Shamali amongst many other senior personalities were also present.
