4 injured in Pickup-Omni collision near Karwar

Karwar: In an accident involving a collision between Pick-up and Omni car, four person travelling in the car received injuries, among which one is said to be serious. The mishap happened on Wednesday here at Sadashivgad NH-66 in the taluk.

The accident took place with Pick-up vehicle colliding Omni car from rear, which was enroute Kanakon in Goa state from Kumta. Sources also said that pick-up driver lost the control of the vehicle after witnessing jam in the steering, that caused the accident.

Around six persons including a toddler was travelling in the car. The injured have been rushed to district hospital.

A case has been registered in Chittakul police station.
