Two poachers arrested in Manki, Honnavar taluk

Honnavar: Forest officials arrested a man and his son for allegedly killing a sambar at Manki range forest in Honnavar taluk on Wednesday and also seized weapons from him. Accroding to forest officials, the arrested are Venkataraman Honnaiah Naik and his son Sharat of Kodsulu village in Bhatkal taluk. The forest staff also seized a rifle, live bullets, a two wheeler and carcass of the sambar. The arrested are habitual paochers and as of now, ther are no cases against them.
