Karwar: Govt urged to implement Sadashiva panel report

Karwar (DHNS): Justice A J Sadashiva Commission Report Implementation Agitation Committee members, on Thursday, protested in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office, in the City, stating the government was delaying its implementation. 

Members took out a protest rally in major parts of the City and congregated in front of deputy commissioner’s office, where they raised slogans against the government.

Later, they submitted a memorandum to district administration.

After several protests, the State government had set up a commission under retired judge A J Sadashiva in 2005. After seven years of study, the commission submitted its report on June 15, 2017 to BJP government. However, the State government has failed to implement the report till date, they charged.

Committee State unit President Chandrakanth Kadroli, Sudhakar Jogalekar, Elisha Elakpati and others were present.
