Once again! stray dog bites 4 including a kid in Bhatkal

Bhatkal: In yet another incident, four including a ten-year-old kid was bitten by a stray dog here near Railway station in Bhatkal on Thursday evening.

It is believed that all four of them were bitten by the same dog. The injured were treated with necessary injections at Bhatkal Govt hospital and were later discharged.

The injured are Umme Salma (31), Shabana (27), Shabbir (49), and Rayyan (10).

It might be recalled that two days earlier, similar incident had taken place in Mutalli in the taluk, where four persons were injured of a dog bite. 

The town is witnessing hundreds of dogs on the streets which also cause motorists to face difficulties to ride on the road. The sad state is after all these, no kind of steps from any department is observed until now to prevent it.
